Ambrosia Maple is very unique and attractive wood. Also called Wormy Maple the district dark streaks in this wood are actually created by a small beetle. The Ambrosia beetle barrows into the wood to lay its larva. The beetle introduces a fungus in the wood that creates those long distinct worm like patterns.
This lumber in this order will be predominantly clear with some small solid knots possible.
